This reclaimed old-growth, heart redwood was milled for the 1942 construction of the Mira Loma Quartermaster Depot in Southern California, an important military logistics center during the Cold War and used in the 1960’s to dismantle Titan I and Atlas missiles. The lumber was milled into 2″ x 4″ and 2″ x 8″, and nailed together to form 8″ thick, 30′ high solid walls.
Denailed and dry. There are nail holes but the overall condition is very good.
